Ballots have been sent out for the Washington State primary on August 4.

There are a total of 711 candidates on ballots in Washington State for 349 Federal, statewide, and local offices, including the 98 seats in the state House of Representatives.

Only one of these 711 candidates is identified as a Green Party candidate: Liz Hallock, a candidate for Governor.

Ms. Hallock ran for the state House of Representatives in 2018 in district 14, position 2. She collected enough votes in the primary to finish second, and thus made it to the general election as a result of Washington State’s top-two primary arrangement. However, in the general election, she was beaten by a Republican incumbent 61% to 39%. The population of the district is 35.5% Hispanic.
